Farewell, Professor Ricardo Favela The Department of Art joins the rest of the academic and artistic community in mourning the death in July of Associate Professor Ricardo Favela, who also was an alumnus of our program.  
Professor Favela’s background is summarized in his faculty profile. Barrio Art, an historic service-learning program that sends Sacramento State students into the local community every semester, is described separately on the Art Department website.
