Overview

The ceramics area of study at Sacramento State offers a foundation in historical forms and techniques while providing the opportunity for individual artistic growth within an art department orientated toward creativity, imagination, and critical thinking.

    The Ceramics Guild sponsors an active visiting artist and workshop schedule each semester. Recent visiting artists include John Balistreri, Sunshine Cobb, Forrest Lesch-Middleton, Adam Field, and Joe Pintz.
