Students who have completed English 20 or English 20M (or equivalent) will have two placement options which will designate them on a particular course path. Students may either take English 109W/English 109M which ends in a portfolio placement, or they may forego taking one of those courses by taking the WPJ exam instead which will indicate the appropriate placement.
Once a placement option is chosen, the placement outcome is irreversible.
It is advised that the students choose wisely between the WPJ and English
109W/M.
